Leo, you left 16 years ago today. Back then, there was no Facebook (at least in our lives), no iPhone, the phrase "fake news" hadn't been invented, politics were boring and mysterious and a global pandemic was a just movie plot.
I do miss those simpler times, and you along with them. On a positive note, right now you're not missing much.

Hi Daddy,
Happy birthday (one day late)! Mom came into the city yesterday to have dinner with me and Sarah. Henry and I facetimed the other day too. We're both living in big cities now with full-time jobs! Hope you'd be proud of us and everything we've accomplished. Was great to see Grandma Mary, Poppy, Greg and Nick for Thanksgiving a few weeks ago. They keep the memories of you alive and well. Elrod, you'll be happy to know that we are all still thinking about you and the silly things we said and did back in the day.

Well, we actually still do that!! We had breakfast on the weekend with Anil and Vic, and the stupidity, silliness and slagging are going strong. And yes, we made fun of Vic's driving.

15 years is a long time, but often it feels just like yesterday. Miss you lots.
