Leo, you will always be my older brother - even though I now have more "earth" years than you. I have no doubt that you still exist, and that where you are, earth years - or any kind of years - cease to be what they mean here. You are in a timeless perfection of stillness, something which we can occasionally glimpse in this mortal life if we are lucky, or if we work at it. I also have no doubt that we all will be bathed by the same light again. I love you. Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas. Oh, and Lose the Digital - you don't need iiiiiiit

Happy Birthday Leo. Today was the day, 46 years ago that you came into the world, and you've been gone from it almost 9 - can't believe it. Was watching some home videos of you and so sad we can't make any more. There are some really funny ones. Love you and miss you forever - Greg

Daddy,

Still hard to believe you're gone. It's weird to think that 8 years ago you were my daddy and you brought me to school and read me books at night and gave me a hug and a kiss everyday. I would do anything to hug you again!

Love you and miss you

Just had to share this because I had forgotten about it until now - and this won't mean anything to anyone reading unless you're both a Queen fan and a Monty Python fan, which, Leo, you certainly were both.

I'm learning a Queen song for a show right now - "Bicycle Races" - a very silly song that has the line "Bicycle, bicycle, bicycle - I want to ride my bicycle, bicycle, bicycle". I had forgotten until now, but you used to sing that song changing the word bicycle to "Lark's vomit" - a quote from the famous "Whizzo Quality Assortment" Monty Python sketch - so the song would instead go "Lark's vomit, lark's vomit, lark's vomit - I want to ride my lark's vomit, lark's vomit, lark's vomit". That's a very very Leo thing to do

Daddy,

i love you so much daddy. today is the 8th anniversary of your death. i dont think ill ever stop missing you and crying whenever i think of you. why would i ever want to forget you? Youve been gone for more than half my life, but I feel like you've made the biggest impact. you showed me that i should always live my life to the fullest, because you never know when it's your time to go. you had everything a man could ever want. wonderful friends, a beautiful family that loved you, everything. i would give anything to see you again, and i always wonder if you can see me, and if you're looking out for me. i hope you're proud of me. i hope i've lived my life to the fullest so far, just like you would want me to. love you so much

Leo, that beer awaits. The three of us will be on that patio again one day. Nothing that is real can ever die, and you are very real! March 24 is forever darkened, yet simultaneously brightened by your memory. Love you always, N

Eight years have passed dear Leo and our hearts are still heavy with sadness. We catch glimpses of you in your children; Paris' smile, Henry's humour. How different life would be if you were still here.

love, Mum and Dad

Hey Leo..I was just watching one of Gregs videos and my thoughts meandered back to Montreal and the Beatle Fests. I remember the laugh we all had about the pizza delivery guy (Za!)...and the poster for the BeatleFest stating "No gooves allowed" Who knew the plural of "goof" was "gooves" That had to be one of yours. Anyway chum, keep the bench warm for us till we all get there to have a pint with you.
